Junior Recruiter / Recruiting Assistant

About Symbiotic Services

Symbiotic Services is a growing staffing and recruiting firm dedicated to connecting top talent with exceptional employers. We are seeking a motivated, coachable, and career-minded Junior Recruiter / Recruiting Assistant to join our team.

This is a full-time, onsite position located in South Fort Worth, Texas. Candidates must be willing and able to commute daily to our office. This role is not remote or hybrid.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who has prior experience or exposure to recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, or human resources and is looking to build a long-term career within the recruiting industry. We are seeking an individual who understands the fundamentals of recruiting and staffing, enjoys working with people, and is eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced agency environment.

Training, mentorship, and professional development will be provided to help you develop into a successful recruiting professional.

Key Responsibilities



  • Assist recruiters with sourcing qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.


  • Conduct initial candidate screenings to evaluate qualifications, experience, communication skills, and overall fit.


  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, and clients.


  • Maintain accurate candidate records and activity within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and internal databases.


  • Communicate professionally with candidates throughout the recruiting process, providing updates and next steps.


  • Assist with job postings, candidate outreach campaigns, and talent pipeline development.


  • Learn and understand client requirements, job descriptions, hiring needs, and staffing industry best practices.


  • Support recruiting teams with administrative tasks, reporting, and recruiting-related projects.


  • Collaborate with team members to improve recruiting processes, sourcing strategies, and candidate engagement efforts.


  • Develop a strong understanding of agency recruiting metrics, client expectations, and workforce solutions.


Required Qualifications



  • 1+ years of experience in recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, human resources, or a related field.


  • Basic understanding of recruiting processes and how the staffing industry operates.


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.


  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.


  • Professional demeanor and ability to build rapport with candidates and clients.


  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general business software applications.


  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.


  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and openness to coaching and feedback.


  • Must be able to reliably commute to our South Fort Worth office Monday through Friday.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience working for a staffing agency, recruiting firm, executive search firm, or corporate HR department.


  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), job boards, or sourcing platforms.


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).
