AMN Healthcare is partnering with a school district in Carlsbad, NM to provide a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the 26/27 school year. You will work in-person with students, supporting their academic and personal growth through occupational therapy interventions. Responsibilities include assisting with evaluations, implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with district staff, while reporting to a supervising OT. Required qualifications are an active New Mexico COTA license and eligibility for employment within Carlsbad Municipal Schools, including completion of district and state background checks and fingerprinting. Required Qualifications
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, School
Experience: New Grad Accepted Completion of an associate’s degree or higher education
Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in NM

Preferred Qualifications
Clear, articulate communication skills
Ability to explain results to a varied audience
Candidates with previous school experience a plus!
Completion of a criminal record and background check
