Job Description

Operating Room TechnicianAn immediate start is needed. Manager interviews will be conducted. The facility has 4 operating rooms. The average number of cases performed per day is approximately 25. Call shifts are required for RN and CST staff. Average call shifts are 6-7 per month. Weekday call typically includes 1-2 shifts. Weekend call is usually every 4th or 5th weekend. Response time for call staff is 20 minutes. A sleep room is available. Scrub colors will be surgical scrubs provided. All staff members will assist in turning over rooms. Support on the unit includes supervisors, CRNAs, and resource nurses. Clientists and phlebotomy services are available 24/7. Orientation is one week, including working closely with a call buddy. Staff may float to inpatient areas to assist. No robotics experience is necessary. Experience with total joints, podiatry, or endoscopy is not required but willingness to be trained is essential.
