Job Title Structural Steel Welder Pay 24/HR - 30/HR DOE Shift Monday - Thursday (4-10 Schedule) Location South Sacramento Job Description The candidate will perform structural steel welding using the fluxcore process on I-beams, beams, and complex tube steel columns. These components are primarily used to construct structures for 2 to 3 story buildings. Welding will be conducted on beams ranging from 3/8 inch to 1 inch. The wire used will be size 332, type NR-311. Responsibilities Perform structural steel welding using the fluxcore process. Weld on I-beams, beams, and complex tube steel columns. Construct structures for 2 to 3 story buildings. Utilize welding wire size 332, type NR-311. Essential Skills At least 3 years of experience in structural steel welding using the fluxcore process. Experience performing production welds on steel and mild steel. Ability to read and interpret weld symbols and drawings. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with nickel welding is advantageous. Work Environment The work takes place in a steel yard. The work area is mostly covered, but it does not have walls on the south and east entrances. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.
