This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional ready to take the next step in their career.Job Summary:As a Professional Land Surveyor, you will support both office and field operations across multiple locations. This role combines technical production, quality control, and light project coordination, with an emphasis on delivering accurate, high-quality survey products.Responsibilities include:Perform survey research, boundary analysis, and document review (deeds, title reports, public records)Prepare and review: Records of SurveyALTA/NSPS Land Title SurveysPlats, lot line adjustments, and legal descriptionsConduct quality control (QA/QC) on survey deliverablesSupport drafting and final mapping using AutoCAD Civil 3D (MicroStation experience a plus)Assist with project tracking, budgeting, and invoicingCollaborate with field crews and office staff across multiple officesPerform occasional field work using Trimble survey equipmentMaintain accurate project documentation and adhere to QA/QC standardsAll other duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities:Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Idaho with a minimum of 5 years of Professional experienceStrong knowledge of Idaho surveying laws and regulationsProven experience in boundary resolution and Records of SurveyProficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred)Familiarity with IDOT standards and survey requirementsExperience with Trimble equipment and field proceduresAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyStrong communication and organizational skillsWillingness to travel and work outdoors in varying conditionsEducation and Experience:Licensure in additional western statesMicroStation experienceValid driver’s license with acceptable driving recordBackground in: ALTA surveysLand development and ROW surveysTopographic surveys and construction stakingBenefits:Employee medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependentsShort-term and long-term disability insuranceCompany paid life insurance with option to buy upEmployee assistance program (EAP)Flexible spending account (FSA)Health savings account (HSA)401k match program & access to asset management servicesYear-end bonusCostco membershipPaid time off (PTO) and PTO sell back programPaid HolidaysParental LeaveTuition ReimbursementPaid day of community serviceWe are a mid-sized consulting firm providing water, wastewater, civil, transportation, and structural engineering services throughout the West including Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, and Utah.
