Enhance your expertise in clinical trial management.Job DescriptionPrincipal Investigator OverviewThe Principal Investigator oversees clinical research activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and ethical standards.This full-time role involves dual-site coverage focused on cardiometabolic and MASLD/MASH research.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to conduct and supervise clinical trials effectively.Ensure participant safety and data integrity throughout the research process.Provide clinical support and oversight for study protocols and activities.Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.Offer expert knowledge and leadership in clinical trial operations and management.Contribute to advancing medical research and improving patient outcomes.Principal Investigator Key Responsibilities & DutiesConduct and supervise clinical research activities, ensuring adherence to protocols and regulations.Oversee participant recruitment, screening, and informed consent processes.Perform study-related procedures, including physical exams and health assessments.Ensure the accuracy, security, and integrity of research data and analysis.Collaborate with sub-investigators and recruitment teams to meet study objectives.Provide after-hours coverage and weekend support as needed for study visits.Prepare for and facilitate study monitor visits and audits.Maintain compliance with federal, state, and organizational policies and standards.Principal Investigator Job RequirementsDoctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience.Previous experience as a Principal Investigator preferred but not required.Proficiency in written and oral communication; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in clinical trial operations.Knowledge of FDA regulations, GCP guidelines, and IRB protocols.Ability to work on-site in clinical and laboratory environments with protective equipment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based enterprise solutions software.Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor in team collaboration.
