Job Description/ Responsibilities :
Drive end to end design and implementation of Oracle Golden Gate replication solutions that ensure high availability, data integrity, and timely information flow across complex enterprise systems for business critical applications.
Manage Oracle databases through meticulous administration activities such as configuration, capacity planning, backup, recovery, and performance tuning to maintain stable and resilient data environments.
Optimize database performance by analyzing workloads, refining indexing strategies, and adjusting resource allocation to support efficient transaction processing and analytical queries for diverse business teams.
Coordinate incident resolution and root cause analysis for database and replication issues to minimize downtime, safeguard data accuracy, and continuously improve operational reliability.
Implement and maintain robust security controls for Oracle databases by enforcing access policies, patching vulnerabilities, and monitoring suspicious activity to protect sensitive information and comply with organizational standards.
Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to assess data requirements, design schemas, and align replication topologies with business continuity and disaster recovery objectives.
Execute structured change management practices for database and Golden Gate configurations, including impact assessment and rollback planning, to ensure predictable and safe deployment of enhancements in day shift operations.
Document detailed technical procedures, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks for database and replication environments to support consistent maintenance and knowledge sharing across technology teams.
Guide optimization of data migration and upgrade activities by planning cutover strategies, validating data consistency, and coordinating with stakeholders to reduce risk and improve system adoption.
Support audit and compliance efforts by providing evidence of database controls, data retention configurations, and replication logs that demonstrate adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
Coordinate capacity assessments and forecasting exercises for databases and replication infrastructure so that storage, compute, and network resources scale in line with projected business growth and data volume.
Engage proactively with hybrid work model practices by using collaborative tools, clear communication, and structured documentation to ensure seamless support for global stakeholders without travel requirements.
Contribute to innovation initiatives by evaluating emerging Oracle features and data replication capabilities, recommending practical enhancements that improve service reliability and societal impact through trustworthy information systems.
