MIG/TIG Welder$28-$30/Hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

This position focuses heavily on MIG welding with opportunities to utilize TIG welding and fabrication skills while working in a clean, organized, and team-oriented shop environment.

What You'll Do

• Perform MIG welding on rolled steel components with a focus on quality and accuracy
• Complete TIG welding projects on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum as needed
• Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and job specifications
• Fit, measure, and prepare materials for welding and fabrication
• Operate fabrication equipment including punch presses and hydraulic presses
• Inspect finished welds and fabricated parts for quality and compliance
• Assist with general fabrication and production work when welding demand fluctuates
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Support and mentor less-experienced welders on the team
• Work closely with production staff to ensure projects are completed on schedule

Qualifications

• Experience performing MIG welding in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment
• TIG welding experience or willingness to perform TIG welding when needed
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, or welding specifications
• Experience working with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and quality standards

Preferred Experience

• Fabricator Welder experience
• Metal fabrication, fitting, and assembly
• Press brake, hydraulic press, or punch press operation
• Tube bending or metal stamping experience
• Structural steel fabrication
• Manufacturing and production welding environments
• Experience training or mentoring junior welders

Work Environment

You'll work in a clean and organized manufacturing facility with approximately 30-35 employees. Team members work closely together in a collaborative environment focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jordan, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
