Facilities Maintenance PositionAs part of a team, this position is responsible for overall maintenance of all facilities of The Guidance Center, Inc.Responsibilities:Conducts preventative maintenance inspections of the facilitiesPerforms basic maintenance repairs using knowledge of materials, methods, machines and tools involved for general repairs and maintenance of equipment and buildings.Interacts with contractors and vendors for repair and maintenance of the general facilityAssist in snow removal during winter monthsAssist in planning for upcoming projectsAssist in the coordination for the installation and removal of equipment, office furniture, and fixturesResponsible for documentation of department related paperworkAssist with vehicle scheduling for service and repairMaintain working knowledge of safe handling of maintenance related chemicalsProvide top quality service to internal and external customersComplete all TGC required trainingAdheres to company policy regarding appropriate conductPerform special projects as assignedKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:High school diploma or GED equivalentTwo years of experience in maintenance or repair fieldMust have a valid driver license with no restrictionsMust have the ability to obtain Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance CardKnowledge of construction toolsFamiliar with mechanical equipmentCan acclimate to sudden temperature changesAbility to perform in inclement weatherMay require travel and, longer or irregular hoursWillingness to learnAccommodation(s):TGC will provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities, unless it would cause undue hardship.
