Custom Machine Builder | Direct Hire

Location: White Bear Lake, MN

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Pay: $25-$35+/hr DOE

Build Custom Machinery From the Ground Up

We're looking for a skilled Custom Machine Builder to join a growing team in White Bear Lake. This direct-hire opportunity offers hands-on work building custom machines, fixtures, and automation equipment from blueprint to final testing.

Responsibilities

• Build custom machinery and equipment from start to finish
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
• Assemble mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues
• Perform fabrication, machining, and welding as needed
• Test and verify machine performance
• Work closely with engineers and technicians on custom projects

Qualifications

• Experience in machine building, industrial assembly, maintenance, or fabrication
• Strong blueprint and schematic reading skills
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, or automation systems preferred
• Welding or machining experience is a plus

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
