Job Description

RMB Products is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer who drives revenue growth by managing relationships with prospective and established accounts. Based in the office with 10% travel, this role owns inbound and outbound sales support, pipeline management, and cross‑functional coordination between engineering, sales, and production teams. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES This position includes the following essential functions but is not limited to them. Additional duties may be assigned: Accurately and timely process incoming RFQs and leads Coordinate with external and internal sales, engineering, and operations teams to gather scope information for opportunities and quotations Submit quotations to customers and proactively follow‑up to track status Bridge communication between teams (engineering, sales, operations, customer service) to ensure alignment of customer requirements through order fulfillment Maintain and record all sales activities, including pipeline, opportunity status, internal/external communications, and reporting KPIs within required systems Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts through proactive outreach and relationship building Participate in internal project and new product development meetings to support customer requirements when needed Manage customer portals to retrieve RFQs and upload documentation Support the sales and leadership team with reporting, forecasting, and sales functions Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Polymer Science or related fields or equivalent experience Experience: New graduate or ~2 years of inside sales, sales support, engineer, or military experience is required Manufacturing, aerospace, semiconductor, or technical industries experience preferred Required Skills Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail to interpret data and drive decisions Ability to read and interpret technical drawings & specifications is a plus Clear written and verbal communication skills Strong customer service orientation and relationship management ability Effectively present ideas, requirements, and results to internal & external departments Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Must maintain the confidentiality of all projects, customers, and techniques Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
