Financial Analyst, Junior

Position: Financial Analyst I

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Newark, NJ

Responsibilities:

• Position will assist with reconciliations, creation of Journal entries, and review of data to determine accuracy, creation of bills to our Vendors, etc
• Need an understanding of accounting, so can prepare the Journal entries
• Need Access skill to be able to do queries, comparison, and, summary of data (which could be large volume of records)
• Needs Excel skills in order to create Summary analysis, calculations, vlookup, Pivot tables to review the data, for accuracy, and, for Analysis
• Good Access and Excel skills to manipulate the data for various analysis, creation of invoices, and, journals, and, review of data with other Departments

Education/Experience:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited college or university.
• Requires zero to two years business experience, preferably in general accounting, financial analysis or related function.
