Role Description The Esthetician role at JEM Medspa is a full-time, on-site position based in Orland Park, IL. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing skin care treatments such as facials, peels, and other non-invasive procedures, along with professional hair removal services according to company protocols and client needs. The Esthetician will consult with clients to assess skin concerns, recommend appropriate services and products, and maintain detailed treatment records. This role involves providing welcoming, responsive customer service, supporting sales of skincare products and packages, and collaborating with other team members to ensure a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment. The Esthetician will follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards and participate in ongoing training to stay current with techniques and offerings.\n
Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in Skin Care services, including facials and related aesthetic treatments.

• Experience with Hair Removal techniques such as waxing, threading, or other approved methods.

• Background in Cosmetology or Esthetics, with a current state license or certification as required in Illinois.
\n
• Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to build trust, listen to client concerns, and provide clear recommendations.

• Comfort with Sales activities, including recommending products, treatment plans, and membership or service packages.
\n
• Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in a clinical or spa environment.
\n
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

• Ability to stand for extended periods, manage appointment schedules, and maintain organized treatment spaces.
\n
• Previous experience in a medical spa, spa, dermatology, or skincare clinic setting is beneficial.
